Dear Abby: Serial dater’s love life hard to watch

Dear Abby: I have a guy friend who goes from girl to girl constantly. He has been called desperate — among other things. None of this ever gets to him.

I would contrast it with someone who uses dating or online dating as a means to find one person to date, with the objective to build a relationship and remove.

The serial dater acts like dating is his job. Apparently online dating sites are chock full of these peeps. I wouldn’t know; I was too busy seeking these guys out in real life. First word of advice: Steer clear of men with playing card ties and exposed hundreds in his shirt pocket. Serial daters are never ready to settle down. They like the chase, and once they have you in their web or bed , then BAM, they’re out like proverbial trout.

He’s a bachelor for life.
